HEALTH CENTRE, GERONA

Project

Design competition for young architects announced by the COAC (Catalonia Architects' Association) and the Generalitat de Catalunya (Catalan Autonomous Government). This project proposes building the entire plan on one floor illuminated by courtyards. The façade is shaped with a translucent layer that covers the main part of the design and allows light to pass through it without the inside being seen. The building is built with prefabricated concrete elements, jagged shapes and prefabricated sheet screens.
